Flashback Friday: Travel Buddy
Friday, November 13, 2009
This photo was taken last summer on the first leg of our 21-day trek through Europe. Can you guess where we are? This vacation meant so much to us. It was partly a family reunion because Damon had spent the previous two years attending graduate school in Virginia while I stayed in Atlanta. We planned this trip to celebrate his graduation and homecoming...you can call it a second honeymoon. It was our reward for working hard and achieving our goals, too. At the time, we were also getting ready to embark on some major life changes...moving to a new city and starting a family. We needed to get away, reconnect, and see some of the world before we became parents. A little over a year later, we welcomed Marlie into our lives.

Great shot! Sounds fun. You guys make a great couple!
Wow I dream to go to Europe, SHOW MORE PICTURES, SHOW MORE PICTURES!
That would be England right?
BTW, I think I said this before but I totally have a crush on your hubby. He is so darn cute!
Is that Big Ben I spy? I've never been there but I would sure love to go! Teresha, I think you are one of the luckiest women in the world! You have indeed been very, very blessed.
Have a great weekend, my friend!
Blessings,
Teresa <><
Thanks all! I know am very lucky. Every now and then, I start to see the glass as half empty and fret about what I don't have (enough money, free time, a stable family, etc...) On these occasions I pull out my scrapbooks and just look at the many many reminders of how blessed my life has been. I promise to share more pics from our travels in future posts...
Big Ben! Parliment! LOL.
A 21-day European vacation. That sounds like soo much fun and a great babymoon of sorts. I will never experience that sort of thing with my husband because he refuses to fly anymore. Just typing that makes me sad. Sigh.
Oh that sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate your achievements - and to get your family started on the right foot. Share more pictures!
...and life with Miss Marlie is only going to give you and Damon even more reasons to celebrate! Next big vacation will include Marlie, and you and Damon will spend 3/4 of your time watching her reaction to the new settings, and you won't feel like you missed a thing, b/c watching her will be the best sight-seeing EVER! Ain't life grand!
That's awesome that you got to travel together through Europe! I would love to do that with my hubby someday :)
