...is driving 10 hours from Atlanta to Miami
...is waking up to 80 degree weather
...is spending time with my family
...is drinking sorrel every day
...is eating grandma's bun with cheese...is visiting old friends
...is shopping at Saw Grass Mills
...is walking around Coconut Grove
...is partying on South Beach
This photo is from 2007, the last time we spent Christmas in Miami. It's been crazy cold in NE Texas and making me wish that I was spending the winter holidays in southeast Florida!

I'm not a beach person at all, but this weather is making me reconsider. 80 degrees sure does sound nice.
It's like 8 degrees here today and while I sometimes wish I was back in California, most times I kind of like it.
FYI, tell hubby I prefer his Taye Diggs (sigh) look over that one (tehe)...
It's so funny how peoples' ideas of Christmas are so different! I grew up in Chicago, so living in Tennessee Christmas never REALLY feels like Christmas to me because there is no snow. We usually go to see my fam. up north for Christmas so it usually helps.
I'm so glad I don't have to put up with the weather and bugs there any more...LOL
Sorry you have to! Look at the bright side...You have a beautiful baby no matter how icky the weather might be!
You look GORGEOUS! What a great picture. Merry belated SITSmas!!
It's very COLD here, today! Miami weather sounds great at the moment!
Hugs and Mocha,

Hey I'm stopping in from SITS saturday sharefest. Sounds like a fun time in FL. I haven't been there for 5 years, arg.
Somehow 80 degrees just wouldn't seem like Christmas to me! LOL!
I hope you and your precious family have an amazing first Christmas all together.
Teresa <><
Oh, why did you mention sorrell. I love it! I need to see if I can find some fresh sorrell down here somewhere, not too many places to choose from. I don't like the dry pre packaged sorrell.
I hope to make it to FL one day, I've never been.
I think I've been to Saw Grass! Is that in Ft. Lauderdale?
