In honor of the Dalai Lama's 75th year on this planet Se'Lah author of NECESSARY ROOM, called upon her readers to perform random acts of kindness for a day. How did yours truly do?...
- I let someone skip me in the line at the post office
- I told my sister that I'm proud of her
- I donated some of Marlie's blankets to help infants receiving a speech therapy in Lusaka, Zambia as part of C.L.A.S.P. International
- I made a contribution to a charity I randomly selected on Charity Navigator
- I told myself that I am a good person
Make kindness your religion!

Oh how lovely! You are quite a generous soul. I love it. I think we shall do this again soon. Kudos to you. I learned of a new charity, the Zambia one you mentioned here. Thanks. One love.
Thank you for reminding us not only to celebrate his Holiness but that little acts of kindness make us feel as good as they make others feel. This is such a good practice to teach our girls!!!
That quote is perfect!
Love the quote at the end. It just makes you smile and go hmmm.....how can I achieve something so simple and difficult at the same time?
I do not know, but I will try.
