This picture of Marlie at the beach in Perdido Key, FL last week reminded me so much of this picture of me at the beach in Negril, Jamaica from 30 years ago. Aren't we a couple of mawga gals? (Jamaican patois translation: super skinny)

I have a mawga gal also! How do you pronounce that? I think I like it better than "super skinny". My mawga gal couldn't gain weight if she wanted to, meanwhile her older sister has the exact opposite problem. Sigh, I wish weight wasn't such a big deal in our society...
