- World Kindness Day is two days away! Follow Se'Lah's lead in celebrating on November 13 by performing random acts of kindness. I'm making and delivering care packages for a local women's shelter as well as passing out new, clean socks to the homeless downtown...it's starting to get cold here. I've also learned about some wonderful charities in my blog hopping like Graham's Foundation, which is asking for micro-donations to support parents of micro-preemies and Feeding America's Thanksgiving Feast of 9 million, which provides 7 meals for hungry people for every $1 you give. How will you show compassion on World Kindness Day?
- Hot cocoa is the only good thing about cooler weather. I found some very tasty, all-natural marshmallows at Whole Foods, too. I'm in chocolate heaven!
- Good riddance mosquitoes. Oh, that is the other good thing about cold weather.
- Goofy. It's Marlie's new nickname. Of all the pet names we've tried on her, I think this one will stick. She is such a goof-ball, like her mama.

Has it really already been a week? I just typed up my post and joined in!
Our world needs a bit more kindness, what a beautiful day! We love hot cocoa too and definitely need to look into those marshmallows. I think Goofy is a cute pet name and a good trait to have.
I love the nickname Goofy. So cute. I think I should adopt it for me too :) Thanks for sharing some ideas for World Kindness Day. Those are all wonderful ways to help others. I love hot cocoa too. I could use some now.
Mr Linky won't let me join the fun but I can at least comment. Found you on SITS and you have just given me the urge to make a hot cocoa, well that and the gale blowing outside my window. Sadly I am having a chocolate craving day and have scoffed my son's chocolate santa I bought him for Christmas and all the chocolate ornaments from the Christmas tree....guess I'll be shopping again tomorrow. Happy Thursday. :)
Thanks for the World Kindness Day reminder. I think I'm going to visit the young girl next door that just had a baby and give her a few hours to sleep or shower or whatnot.
Yay for hot cocoa AND no mosquitoes!!
Goofy?! Perfect. Love it.
Hi Teresha! I found you through Kelly's blog. I like your list and it makes me want to do more around here too!
Soups are another good thing about cold weather to me!
