Baby Log: 1 Year and 24 Weeks Old

This week I realized how fast Marlie is growing up and it hit me like a tons of bricks.
For instance, she is showing the classic signs of readiness for potty learning. She was already telling me when she was ridin' dirty by patting her bottom and say "poop." But now she will sometimes got get her potty and sit on it. Mind you, she will have already done the deed, but it's a step in the right direction.
This week she has been repeating lots words including trash, apple, and night night. I must make a list of all the words she can say. She is going to be a chatterbox like her momma.
She showed her flare for comedy when she sniffed her daddy's socks and exclaimed, "ew!" She also did this to my bra. Is she trying to say that we have BO?!
Marlie also discovered the difference between mommy's and daddy's crotch. She walked up to me and smacked me right in my crotch then went and did the same thing to her daddy. She came back to me with a puzzled look like she wanted to ask why I was flat in front when her daddy has a bump. She's too inquisitive for her tender age.
Damon and I started Insanity yesterday and we survived day 1. I must be high on endorphins because I have been up since 4 am and have not crashed and burned (the day is still young though). I'm thinking of posting weekly updates versus daily ones.
We start co-blogging on marriage on Monday, so come back and check it out!

My-o-My! I can not believe how fast Little Princess Marlie is growing. It seems like only yesterday we were guessing when she was going to make her grand entrance into this world and how much she was going to weigh/how long she was going to be. Just look how far you ALL have come!!
I have missed y'all SOOOOOO much but I think about you very, very often. I hope you know that! I really do love you all.

Oh my goodness, Marlie is growing into a little lady. I love when they discover new things. The expression they show are so priceless.
Hugs and Mocha,
Stesha
Oh, Marlie is a cute, curious little one! She is growing up fast!
I didn't know you were going to co-blog! How fun.
And how big Marlie is getting!
Co-blogging on marriage? What a wonderful idea, I cannot wait to read your posts.
Are you sore from day 1? My friend did insanity and she really toned up, but it is a lot of work and dedication.
I can't believe the difference between boys and girls. Marlie is already showing signs of potty training. Deaglan is three and we are still not all the way there. You absolutely should keep a log of what she's saying. Imagine how cool that will be for her to show her kids. I'm happy to hear about the co-blogging. Looking forward to reading.
We have no signs of potty training interest yet but maybe I could do better and at least put the potty in view!
We started getting the apple word recently too! Although Lewis considers anything round to be an apple - an onion, a potato, a small red ball LOL.
Yea for the potty learning! Definitely signs. Maybe try and dump the pooh from her diaper into the potty chair so that she understands it's supposed to go there?? LOL I did that with Turner.
That's great that she is getting ready to potty train. Miss V is somewhat interested, but has a long way to go. She always thinks she pooped, when all she did was fart. At least she says "'scuse me". :-)
