What I'm Watching on #Netflix

This week's picks from Netflix Instant Watch:
TV Show:
Home Movies is a crudely drawn, ad-libbed, and hilarious show that airs on Cartoon Network in the wee hours of the morning. The cartoon follows the lives of precocious third-grader Brendon Smalls, a budding Spielberg, and his best friends as they attempt to make serious movies that their teachers and parents don't seem to appreciate. This show got me through 3 am breast-feedings, but watching it wide awake is even better.
Movie:
Tangled is Disney's cute remake of the Rapunzel fairytale. Rapunzel is no longer a damsel in distress, but a self-determined free-spirit out to make the most of her adventure outside the tower (with the help of a thief on the run, but she's totally in charge). Marlie L-O-V-E-D this movie, especially the palace horse Maximus. We watched it twice. The movie lacks a signature Disney Song of the Year contender, but the soundtracks are catchy, like a Broadway musicals.

Oh my gosh, I loved Tangled! I watched it on the plane home from Germany and it was just the best! I didn't think I would since I'm not all about the computer animation, but it was actually so well done :)
I've never.seen the first one. We've watched Tangled.so many times. That was a good movie.
I loved tangled also! It was very cute. The 1st show I've never seen. I like a lot of the stuff that comes on the cartoon network though.
Glad this wasn't an asian soap opera this time! *snicker*
We love Tangled around here! I haven't heard of the Home Movies, but it definitely sounds like my type of humor. I'll have to check it out!
I LOVE Home Movies. It used to be or a cartoon by the same animators used to be part of the Saturday morning lineup. As the show got older the drawings were less squiggly. LOL I haven't seen Tangled yet. I need to add some movies to my queue.
I'm a new follower and your blog looks great! I love Tangled and Home Movies is definitely one of my guilty pleasues!
