Coconut oil has been used for hair treatment in coconut producing countries such as India and the Philippines for thousands of years. I've been using Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil for Hair Treatment as a pre-wash conditioner on me and Marlie for the past two weeks. Following the instructions on the label, I rubbed the oil into our hair and scalp at least 30 minutes before showering or before bed at night making sure to wear a protective plastic cap.
