Despite the drama of the preceding days, I managed to have a pretty happy Mother's Day. I got to sleep late, had a wonderful breakfast prepared by my husband and daughter. He gave me a spa gift certificate and a IOU for a family photo shot. I didn't have to wash a single dish or do any laundry. Then we went to Whole Foods for dinner (my choice) because they have the best BBQ in the city.

And he shoots, and he scores! Yay for Damon, he pulled off when the odds were against him! Sounds like a nice day to me. Any day with a baby that a mom gets to sleep in on is a nice day in my book. I would have been so ecstatically happy over that, I probably would have gone in to shock. Hubby has just recently started letting me sleep in and the Little Miss is 3! Actually, I really should say the Little Miss has just started letting me sleep in. Hubster probably would have been fine with me sleeping in if she wouldn't have been screaming her head off the whole time.
