I had the opportunity to review the official pink flip cover for the S3 from Samsung. I am electronically-challenged so I had to get tech support to figure out how to put the case on (tip: remove the original battery cover). My phone looks like it got a makeover, LOL! I love the fact that you mention it keeps the slim feel of the phone - it's what I really like about my S3 but don't want to add extra bulk. Good point!

I really like the pink color! I agree if you are going to get any sort of cover or case for your phone it should make it so that it is not only durable but more your style.

My Husband need a hard shell over his cause he drops it so much! This case is beautiful. I don't have a cell phone I just use my husbands and I am sure he would kill me if I put a pink case on it lol.
